Hartsdale is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Hartsdale is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Everything about my visit was excellent. The food arrived quickly and tasted incredibly fresh. The karaage was perfectly crispy and served with a nice, bright lemon wedge. We also really enjoyed the ramen, which had a rich, comforting broth and tender meat. Even the dessert was a great finish to the meal. I will definitely be back soon.

We stumbled upon Kishuya when our other usual ramen spot was closed, and weβve been back a handful of times since! The food is delicious, staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is casual and authentic. They have a big menu and lots of options to share and the ramen portions are large! Itβs a great local spot and weβll continue to come back!

Ended up here for dinner because my daughter really wanted ramen. We had the Kara-age chicken (my choice) and edamame (her choice) to start with, both were decent. We both tried a different ramen, I had a spicy one from the specials menu which I enjoyed, it was really good. They have a kids menu with affordable choices but of course my kid didnβt want anything from there and she only ate half her ramen and didnβt care for the pork belly or really most of the toppings. We finished off our meal with the mango pudding which I thought was amazing. I thought it was definitely kid friendly, lots of families with kids dining the day I went. Service was ok, a bit on the slower side but I guess they were a bit busy. Overall I thought it was pretty pricey and not 100% worth it which means next time I would look for a different ramen spot in the area to explore.

Food is fine, the wings are too chewy and not great. Ramen is really their best thing besides the chicken katsu buns. There is one very loud Puerto Rican waitress they have who was having an across the room argument with one of the owners, pretty unprofessional. When said waitress was asked to remove an unwanted shrimp dish from the bill she refused ("rock shrimp", tiny portion and bland so not worth the price of 17 dollars). She spent the rest of the evening catering to a personal table of her family members. This place would do well to be rid of her entirely. Dessert tasted weird and was dry, went unfinished.

Mara is so amazing, and very informative! Delicious food and amazing waitress as well is Kitomi! Surprised me with a delicious green tea ice cream dessert, YUMMY! Their Aburi tuna is so yummy. The Shoyu Tonkotsu and the Spicy Garlic Miso ramen soup are delicious!
